reporting how the campaign was successful. - Amanda
- A commercial
showing what people go through, all of the places we go and
things we do.
Give information about seniors. (There is not enough information
about seniors.) - Lloyd
- A short
documentary about members of our community and their skills,
people at work.
- Amanda
working at Taco Bell, she was the best cashier that they
ever had.
- Lloyd
doing daily tasks; catching the bus and paying the bills.
- Murray
playing the guitar and harmonica
- Lee
doing drama, playing golf or ice hockey, challenging himself.
We can
do anything that you can do!
-
Live a
day in our shoes!
For example challenge an able bodied person to live a day
in our shoes, if you had a learning disability, maybe they
couldn't read anything, or if there were on crutches put the
able bodied person on crutches.
-
Flashes
of all different aspects of a persons life.
- Start
the commercial with an image of a person who looks 'sick,' and
throughout the commercial show how capable they really are.
- Similar
to Mastercard
- show
a person getting help from their AISH worker, and give a
price,
- show
a person catching the handibus, and give the price,
- show
a person advocating for their rights- Priceless!
- Trying
to fight the message that people with disabilties are sick or
ill and need to be fixed! Dr. Frankenstein- show the doctor
trying to fix Frankenstein, and show Frankenstein running away,
because he is not broken and doesn't need to be fixed. Show
in the commercial that Frankenstein shows the doctor he was
never broken and does not need to be fixed. (If we're not broken,
we don't need to be fixed!)
